Starting off Strong

Photography has been one of my favorite classes so far! I love how we have an unlimited amount of creative freedom in each project we do. For an example, this transformations project was limited to our imagination and I had a lot of fun messing with the different filters and colors. I am looking forward to future projects and doing bigger and better things. I'm also excited to start working with the cool big cameras so I can shoot even better quality photos. I think this year is gonna be great!

So far this year I have learned to step out of my comfort zone a little bit with my photography skills. I have also learned a lot my time management skills and my ability to work under pressure. I tried to work more with colors and black and white stuff too. Overall, I can tell I have improved greatly this year so far.

Architecture: I like this picture because of the composition, like how clear and focused it is. I also like what I did with the color, it gives the church an older feel because it is in black and white but it makes the sky pop more.  Architecture: I love this picture because the filter I used rally made the stone pop. Best 10 Nature Pictures

This field trip I really tried to branch out. I used a zoom lens for the majority of the trip and am very satisfied with the results. Overall, I like how these pictures came out and I look forward to shooting nature photography again.  "Twisted"
This picture was of a tree that had two branches that grew out to make a natural hammock looking swing. I saw this part of the tree and thought it was interesting how the two branches twisted together. Composition wise, i really like how sharp the focus is and the exposure is good too. "Afloat" I was shooting with the long lens as I saw this duck and I wanted to see how far I could zoom to get as close as I could to the duck. I love how the focus came out as well. "Branch Out" This tree was super tall and I knew I wanted to shoot it from a looking up angle but I wanted it to look different than all the other ones I've seen like it so I puled out the long lens and tried to really focus on the design of the tre…

I like this picture because of how the leaves frame her face and how happy her smile looks.  I loveeee this picture because of the brightness of the flowers above her head and how her gaze is up. I also like how the leaves frame her in this picture as well.

 I like this picture because of the focus and the depth of field (the background behind the metal thing is blurry but everything else is in focus). I also like her expression and how I took it in landscape and not portrait.  I love this picture because of the alternating brick background. I also like his pose and how he is looking off and not straight at the camera.  I like this picture because of the focus and background and how he is looking at the camera.
 I think the lighting is really cool in this picture (I used a light bar) and I love his pose too.
